The striker joined the Gunners from Sporting in July
Gunners striker Viktor Gyokeres was left out in the new manager's maiden Swedish national team selection, while Reds striker Alexander Isak received a place

Gyokeres sat out the Gunners' Champions League victory versus the Czech side earlier this week

- Tottenham playmaker the young talent, who is recovering from a head injury
- Magpies wide player the Swedish international
Both athletes feature in the England-based players selected under former multiple English clubs coach Graham Potter
Potter's Hiring
The English manager took over the Swedish federation originally on a short-term basis on 20 October, under a month following leaving by the Hammers
Previous manager the Danish coach was sacked following Sweden's 1-0 loss to Kosovo on 13 October, a result that ended automatic qualification from qualifying group impossible

Should they don't manage to claim the runner-up spot, they may yet be involved in the secondary qualification because of their performance during the previous UEFA competition
